You're on a scenic route through a state recreational area known as the human mind. You ask a pass-byer for directions, only to find he has no face or something. Suddenly up ahead, a door in the road.
Kadenze approached us to collaborate on designing a peer reviewing feature for their current and future coursework offerings. This feature would allow students to cretique one another via an online critique platform. At its core students would be able to view, comment and submit critiques for a select group of their classmates, which would be assigned by the instructor. Based on the course offerings the Peer Assessment tool would need to accomidate a variety of media types across various viewport sizes.
Considering the complexity of the process we added in some on boarding notifications for first time users so that they can get satrted quickly and also sets them up to learn as they go. We released the feature to a small cohort for testing, which went well and provided us with valiable insight on how to improve the flow. Once released to the entire community the Peer Assessment tool became a thriving space for feedback and conversation about process and technique.
