You're on a scenic route through a state recreational area known as the human mind. You ask a pass-byer for directions, only to find he has no face or something. Suddenly up ahead, a door in the road.
Zwift was in need of some visual explorations for a web based portal project. They needed some early day sketches that would be used to communicate project objectives and gain adoption. A series of visual examples would be needed with an added interactive component.
While at Zwift I was asked to create a set of different designs of what the Zwifter Portal could be. These are totally blue sky ideas that might not be used but will help inform a direction that might be followed. One of the ways that I achieved this was by imposing a few different restrictions. One of those restrictions was that I gave myself a set amount of time to create each version.

I also limited myself to some of the more basic components that we had available in the Web Design System. This allowed me to have a loose approach to ittereating so that we might generate some interesting results. Rather than share my ideas out using long static images I decided to create simple prototypes that showcase the designs in one of the intended viewports.
